Prototypes
In 2000, 7th Floor Media embarked on the development of a biographical CD-ROM prototype about
Canadian writers entitled “Heart, Mind, Imagination”. My role was to develop the screens and to research and write much
of the content for the Margaret Laurence, and to a lesser extent, the Timothy Findley sections. Even though the
prototype was a remarkable success, the CD-ROM did not receive funding for further development. Below is the first
screen I designed for the Margaret Laurence section.
